About Me

I am on a neverending search for authenticity. I love to share my interests and enthusiasm with others, and make a point of seeking out and appreciating beauty in life. A bit of a dilettante, I'm very much into music, film, literature and theatre. And I've got wanderlust, bad.

Living without dead time is important to me.

I see myself as adventurous, passionate and engaging, and I care very deeply about the myriad problems that face our world. I'm trying to make a positive contribution by educating myself as much as possible, and (hopefully) becoming part of the solutions.

"Se passionner pour tout et ne tenir a rien..."

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I'm new to this, but have contributed financially to the community and am willing to participate by offering my current living space as long as I can, whenever possible to other surfers.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

During my final year of university back in Hamilton, my housemates and I hosted a few Couchsurfers over the summer. It's a great project that I'm excited to be a part of.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I climbed to Jamaica's highest peak in the Blue Mountains in just over three hours. It was amazing to watch the sun rise over the island. I have canoed pristine lakes in Algonquin Park, swam in the River Kwai with elephants, and biked the deserted yet beautifully luminous streets of Paris during the wee hours of the morning, countless times. I also have my second degree Black Belt in goju-ryu karate. But the most amazing experience of all so far was my entire volunteering placement in Haiti.
