About Me
*UPDATE*
Finished the Germany-Turkey hitch-hiking adventure and now discovering the infinite beauty of this country!
---
I'm a creative minded Aussie who's just finished studying in Denmark - now trying to hitch-hike to Turkey and meet as many people as possible on the way!
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
Everyone who's ever lived has stories to tell and lessons to teach, so I'm here to soak up as much as I can, regardless of who I'm with.
Trusting strangers and being rewarded for it is a powerful, joyful thing that I see no reason to stop doing.
I also love improving my cooking skills and showing my gratitude through food, so putting a meal together for or with you is something I'd greatly enjoy.
Interests
I've gained a great appreciation for learning throughout this year, and am pretty proud to say I've acquired a much more well-rounded set of life skills than I had previously. I've done plenty of things for the first time recently and developed a keen interest in them. For example:
- Guitar + ukulele
- Hitch-hiking
- Knitting
- Mountain biking
- Photography
- Gardening
- Veganism and sobriety
My more long-term interests include:
- Piano
- Writing
- Australian football
- cooking
- board games
- knitting
- music
- psychology
- sustainability
- vegetarianism
- radio

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
I stayed in a little Georgian mountain village in early 2023, surrounded by breathtaking winter views, opportunities for adventure and -20 degree air. Stray dogs aplenty, icy slopes and a hectic marshrutka (public minivan) journey. Quite the memorable experience!
Teach, Learn, Share
Sticking to my principles of positivity and openness have allowed me to experience things I never thought I would've. Diving head-first into adventure is something that's rarely regretted.
I was gifted a ukulele in Denmark too, and it's now my favourite travel partner. Happy to teach you some chords and sing some songs together if you're interested!
When it comes to learning new things, I'm absolutely open to anything. If you're particularly proud of a passion, love discussing life or want to pass on a skill you've picked up, I'd love to learn from you.
What I Can Share with Hosts
Open-minded chats, curiosity for culture and a few recipes I've picked up along the journey!
