I was born and raised in Portland, OR, and I grew up on boards–snowboards, windsurfing boards, skateboards. I have travelled all over the world, and as a freelance photographer, my work continues to take me to exciting places and puts me in touch with great people.

When I am not behind a camera, you can find me at the mountain–teaching avalanche courses for the ski patrol, or chasing waves around the Oregon coast with my dogs and girlfriend.

Travelled around the world, in 2006. Started–and ended–in Ensenada, Mexico. Went to Hawaii, Hong Kong, Vietnam, Myanmar, India, Egypt, Turkey, Croatia, Spain.
