Hello! :D Here is some background info about me...

I grew up in North West London, Camden and I then lived in Leeds for undergraduate studies. After that I worked in the charity sector for about 3 years and then moved to Maastricht (the most beauutiful little city in Holland) to do my Masters. I have also spent time in Cambodia - where I lived for six months in my early twenties, working at a school teaching English.

Currently, I work as a reporting and research consultant for the UN, IOM - mainly focusing on return refugees and internally displaced people. At the moment I am working in Kabul, so, as you might expect... I won't be able to accept guests :P. I previously worked in Maastricht UNU-Merit, and I still have a lot of ties to that beautiful city :D

I consider myself very lucky in that I love my work, but at the same time I'm a strong believe that life should be balanced. Too much work and too much typing isn't healthy for my rhythms so I am a person that loves to break life up with exercise, dancing, meditation, meeting friends and (very importantly) doing random and exciting things. For example, I love love to swim in freezing cold water! Having said that, I also like to do usual things... such as have a lovely hot coffee in the sun or watch football over a few pints.

Overall, I am a warm, compassionate and kind person who loves to experience new things, meet new people. If there's anything else you want to know about me, please just drop me a message :D

Music: I'm a sucker for 90s Hip Hop and Rap. Aside from that, I love Nujabes, Fat Freddy's Drop, Okawari, I also have a strange love for Country Music (Old Crow Medicine Show mainly)... and I listen to a lot of French (Ash Kidd) and Spanish Music (La Banda Baston, Sharif).

This Year: Diving in Lagos, Portugal. Being underwater.., having access to another world entirely... It was a dreamy experience that I can't wait soon enough to repeat!

Cooking! I can cook delicious meals: my specialties are curries and couscous salads with fried courgettes. Also great conversations and good vibes ;)
