Why I’m on Couchsurfing

To meet people around the world! :)

In college, my close friends opened their apartment to couchsurfers. Meeting these people was always a great, fun experience! After graduating, I took a job working abroad in France teaching English in primary schools for the year. In my travels, I was able to use couch surfing to open many opportunities and doors, and make many connections. It's a great way to meet others and learn about different areas in the world.

Interests

I'm very active, and I enjoy trail running, biking, swimming, hiking, and climbing. I love the outdoors, and spending time in nature. I also like to draw and paint, although I don't take nearly enough time to do it!

I'm currently planning a road trip across the USA before I enter grad school, to do a lot of climbing and hiking and check out as many National Parks as I can!

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I will always remember the time I got to go on a trip to the Calanques in Marseille for my first time multipitch climbing. So amazing being a tiny dot on a giant wall above the ocean!

I am happy to share anything and everything you want to know about my culture! Teaching being one of my passions, I am always happy to exchange conversations in the various languages I speak (English, French, and some Spanish) to get some practice! I also love to hear of and share stories of people's adventures, in travel, in nature, in life!
