ABOUT ME

Hi!
My name's Harriet, I love meeting new people, visiting new places and I'm always open to learning something.
I've recently moved back to my home country after living abroad for several years. It's a bit strange but I'm settling in.
I'm visiting old friends in Toronto and couldn't pass up the opportunity to see something of Newfoundland which has been on my list for years.

I couchsurfed years ago and had a really positive experience. I'm only in Newfoundland for a short time and want to spend time with people from the island as much as possible.

I love to read, bake and be outside.
I have a soft spot for folk music, motown and Phil Collins.
I'm also interested in cycling and hiking.
Oh, and I'm a massive film fan.

Morceaux de musique, films et livres

My love for folk music has grown the past few years but I enjoy a good dance party anytime!
Favourite books and movies are always hard, but a two all-time favourites are Watership Down by Richard Adams and Gosford park directed by Robert Altman. I could not recommend either of these enough.

I teach elementary school and find it so helpful to be a student myself, it doesn't have to be a language but just trying to learn a new skill puts me back in the shoes of my pupils.
