Overview
About Me
I think as humans, we are shaped by experience and the people who are in our lives. I love sharing who I have become with new people, I love telling stories, laughing and being in the moment.
I like the free things in life; beautiful views, swimming in open water, human connection and pausing to realise how lucky I am.
I was born in Oxford, I studied Photography at Birmingham University and graduated in 2015. I then moved to Berlin to work for an analog photography company for two lovely years. I am obsessed with film and all things analog, for me the whole process is like a therapeutic ritual, I especially like shooting with expired films.
Since January 2017, I have been living and working in Switzerland as an Au-Pair, for a lovely Swedish family, where I will remain for the rest of the year (this unfortunately means I can't host right now).
I have keen interests in travel and different cultures, I practice yoga and meditation. Nature is very important to me, a lot of the inspiration for my Photography stems from this love.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I have always wanted to sign up for Couch Surfing, I think the concept is great, it's a wonderful way to meet like-minded, compassionate people, while getting to know the place through a locals eyes- let's face it, that's how you find the true treasures of a city or country, not atop a tour bus and staying in an over priced hotel. As I mentioned I love sharing and hearing stories, learning from others, discussing current topics and points of view over a couple of beers.

Music, Movies, and Books
My music taste varies and it's always changing. Spotify tells me my most recently played artists are: Dope Lemon, All Them Witches, The Handsome Family, Cowboy Junkies, Ben Howard, Cigarettes After Sex.
At the moment I am reading a classic given to me by a good friend called 'On The Road' by Jack Kerouac.
I also like poetry, I have just discovered a poet called Nayyirah Waheed whose work really touches me.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Worked for the Impossible Project, who saved the last Polaroid factory from being destroyed, thus saving the magic that is Instant Film.
