About Me

I am currently in my final year of studying Jewellery Design and Silversmithing at Glasgow School of Art in Scotland. I have previously worked as a nanny and as a baker. My love for good food and table gatherings has led me into making tableware this year.
I love to spend time outdoors admiring nature. Activities I often pursue outside include hiking, rock climbing, wild swimming and running.
I find meeting new people fascinating as theres always new things we can learn from each other. Similarly, this is why I think we can gain so much from traveling and why forums such as Couchsurfing are such a great resource.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I am on Couchsurfing as in the past I have used it to successfully meet people and form friendships in places that have been new to me. I think it offers great scope to connect travellers with locals from around the world that share common interests. In this way we all learn and provide for one another and enjoy a great adventure for cheap!

Interests

I'm currently traveling before beginning my studies in jewellery and silversmithing next year in England. I'm interested in art and culture but enjoy most topics of conversation however diverse.

Teach, Learn, Share

I have a handful of skills that I love to share and teach. I used to work as a baker so one of my favourite things is to teach people how to make sourdough bread. I also make my own yoghurt at home and in the past have tried various forms of fermentation. I regularly make my own chocolate and I do make savoury dishes too! Asides from food, I study in the arts so there are many crafts I have picked up along the way. All of which I would very willingly share with anyone who showed interest.
