I am a 20 year old student majoring in Industrial Engineering at the University of Wisconsin - Madison. Currently, I am studying abroad in Budapest, Hungary. During my time here, I hope to travel all over Europe and meet some amazing people along the way. Also on this adventure in Europe, I am looking forward to learning about new, interesting cultures and exploring new places that are very different from where I come from. When I return home to school in Wisconsin or my home in New York, I would gladly return the favor and host people who have hosted me as well as other people touring the United States.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I am relatively new to Couchsurfing, but I have heard great things from friends and acquaintances who have used it in the past. It looks like a very beneficial way to experience new cultures and explore cities you have never been to. It also seems like a great way to meet and become friends with new and fun people from across the world.

Interests

One of my main interests is travelling and seeing the many fun and beautiful places that the world has to offer. I have traveled all over the United States and previous to my current study abroad program, I have traveled throughout Spain with my family, France, and a few other places. I am also very interested in meeting new people and creating friendships with people from around the world.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

One of the amazing things I have done was living in Lyon, France for two weeks when I was 10 years old. It was a program through my school back home and was a very enriching experience to live with hospitable, but different people and explore such a new and amazing country at a very young age.

What I Can Share with Hosts

I am looking forward to sharing my fun, friendly, and adventurous personality with my future hosts. I would also love to share my American culture with people who I would be more than happy to stay with while traveling throughout their country.
