Greetings! I am someone who believes that variety is not the spice of life, but is instead the main course. I am on a never-ending quest of self improvement and personal growth. I strive for a rich, diversified, and holistic lifestyle. I try to be nothing but a positive influence on those I meet and I try to foster good values within myself and others such as confidence, compassion, self-esteem, honesty, and respect.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I love to travel. When I was younger, I had some amazing experiences as a Student Ambassador that have undoubtedly fueled my desire to pursue a nomadic lifestyle. I want to immerse myself in other cultures, experience everything this world has to offer, meet new people, and make new friends along the way. When I stumbled across this couch surfing site, it seemed like a perfect opportunity to do just that!

Interests

I have a somewhat eclectic set of interests. I have tremendous appreciation for the outdoors and enjoy various physical activities such as hiking, bicycling, kayaking, skiing, and scuba diving. However, I'm also part nerd and enjoy video games, card games, anime, and more. Plus, I have no doubt that there are plenty more hobbies I have yet to discover!

Music, Movies, and Books

The Lord of the Rings is hands-down my favorite story of all time. I love both the books and the movies.
That aside, my favorite movies are Inception, Interstellar, and The Dark Knight.
My favorite books are His Dark Materials, The Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy, and Harry Potter.
My favorite shows are Game of Thrones, Death Note, Ghost in the Shell, and Wolf's Rain.
As a musician, I enjoy many types of music. Some my favorite genres are film scores, J-Pop, classical, and select rock music.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I once ate a single potato chip and didn't eat another the rest of the day thus proving that you can, in fact, eat just one.

Haha. No, on a more serious note, I was a member of the PTP Student Ambassador program and traveled to China when I was 14 years old. I spent 2.5 weeks there and got to see Beijing, the Great Wall, Shanghai, Hong Kong, and much more. It was definitely one of the most memorable and influential experiences of my life.

What I Can Share with Hosts
