I'm currently planning a trip to Canada and America. I'm looking forward to meeting and talking with people from all walks of life and hopefully immersing myself into Canadian and American culture beyond the main tourist attractions. I am very open minded and take great interest in pushing myself out of my comfort zone trying new food, music or activities. I love nature and being active - I still think the best way to explore a city is to go on an aimless run!

I think that I would only scratch the surface of what a country has to offer if I travelled in a planned, mainstream way. Couchsurfing encapsulates what I think is best about travelling; meeting new people and exploring with them!

My favourite book is Brave New World by Aldous Huxley; I have no favourite music genre I enjoy all music from pop to classical and I especially enjoy live music; my joint two favourite movies are The Godfather and Top Gun.
