ABOUT ME

I was born and raised in Omaha, NE. I graduated from film school at Columbia College Chicago. I love making creative projects. Taking projects from idea to manifestation is the most rewarding thing to me.

I want to make films all over the world and I want them to guide my travels and I want my travels to guide my films.

I haven't had my own couch to share in a long while due to traveling.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I have hosted when I lived in Chicago, and am now traveling mostly. Crashing with friends and friends of friends has always yielded positive experiences for me thus far and I am exited to continue doing so through this social network.

I love all types of media and find myself overwhelmed often by the vastness of the media pool, especially on the internet. Some of my favorite pieces of media currently are, The Babadook by Jennifer Kent, Ida by Paweł Pawlikowski, Wetlands by David Wnendt, The Idler Wheel... by Fiona Apple, On Your Own Love Again by Jessica Pratt, The Amazing Adventures of Kavalier & Clay by Michael Chabon, Inherent Vice by Thomas Pynchon, The Act of Killing by Joshua Oppenheimer, Saga by Brian K Vaughan and Fiona Staples, and Black Hole by Charles Burns.

I am always looking to gain new knowledge and ideas as I hope most are. I am always up to share my knowledge of films and filmmakers. I am also always totally down to sing a song if we both know it or to help make any baked goods!
