ABOUT ME

Hello! My name is Harrison. I live way up north in a booming little town named Fort St. John. We are fairly isolated up here so I love to get out and go exploring as much as I can. I love roadtrips, camping, sleeping in the car, crashing on a floor - all while finding new and fun things to do "out there". I am very sociable, easy to get a long with and am down for doing almost anything.

PHILOSOPHY

Like most people, I have no idea how much road is left ahead of me to travel. Most find out they have reached the end before they had the opportunity to go and see things that they had admired. I am hoping to continue moving forward, meeting people, exploring our planet and keeping myself in awe.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I enjoy using CS or AirBnB while traveling so I can meet real locals and immerse myself in their city and culture. I despise the resort life and fancy hotels. My preference is people over pillows. I have also helped out a few people in my area but unfortunately we are off the beaten path unless you are driving to Alaska.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I have stayed in many hostels, B&B's and a few couches in my traveling. My best experiences were in Hawaii. Some people really helped me out while I was there and turned me on to couchsurfing. Looking forward to many more couches on my upcoming travels.

Driving the pacific coast highway, skateboarding across the Golden Gate bridge, surfing in Maui, Sunrise at Haleakala, driving a '75 VW microbus on the edge of a cliff, watching the Redwings at the Joe, staring up at buildings in NY, eating at Pizza by Alfredo in Scranton PA, getting soaked at Niagara falls, eating the best pizza of my life at Exchequers in Chicago.
