I gratuated from university on January 2015 where I got my degrees from both Architecture and Civil Engineering and Iwent back to school to start my Masters Degree in "architectural acoustics" and now I live in İstanbul now. I love architectural history. I love the idea of traveling but until last year I haven't been able to go abroad. In 2013 I was able to visit my 10 years long pen friend in her hometown, in Pireaus/Greece and in the summer of 2015 I traveled around Europe with my 2 friends. It was absolutely wonderful. I wanted to see the world, learn about different cultures, meet new people.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I didn't even know that this opportunity exists. After one of my friends told me that I started searching :) What an amazing system . I can interact with locals or foreign people like me who are learning the culture. Hopefully in the future I'll be able to host some people in my home :)

Interests

I think that I am a really good cook ( my friends tell me all the time) and I love to try new recipes. Pasta is my favourite dish since childhood so I love Italian cuisine. Also some Asian dishes are quite wonderful and curry is the best spice :)

I had the chance to travel to Pireaus & Athens / Greece to visit my pen friend whom I knew for 10 years. It was such an amazing adventure for me . I had the chance to see a Greek Wedding and it was amazing to learn things about different cultures.
And during July 2015, I've visited 3 more countries and 5 cities with my 2 friends (Holland-France-Italy). It was an amazing experience and we made lots of mistakes during the planning process but we've learned so much as well.
-TV :
I love Korean TV dramas and Americans generally. Game of Thrones, Friends , The Mindy Project, Grey's Anatomy, Criminal Minds, Sherlock and Fringe are only some of my favourite shows :) and about Korean dramas, I love Coffee Prince, Boys over Flowers, Dream High, A Gentlemen's Dignity, It's Ok That's Love, etc

Music, Movies, and Books

- Movies & Books : I love to watch movies in my spare time and if I like the content of the movie I'll watch almost every kind except the horror movies. I hate to watch those :) Fantastic and science fiction movies are generally my favourite and of course as a girl I love romance. My favourites are Harry Potter, Lord of the Rings, The Blind Side, Interstellar, most of the Marvel movies, and Disney-Pixar movies etc.
Books are my special places to run away from everyday life. I love to read fantastic, distopian, mystery and romance novels. Agatha Christie was my first mystery and detective novel writer . I have 20 books of her. Of course Harry Potter is one of my all time favourite series.
-Music : I love to listen music from different languages. Eventhough I dont understand the lyrics at first ( but now thanks to the internet, I can find their translations), music is universal. There are no boundaries :) I love Barış Manço, Shakira, Big Bang, Lady Gaga.
