I'm an engineer and I'm very interested in making cities more sustainable and green. I'm originally from the the UK, I love traveling and meeting new people, trying different foods and experiencing different cultures. I began my travels while in University and have been enamored with traveling the world, exploring different cities, learning the language and cultures and interacting with locals.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

My friend encoraged me to try Couchsurfing out, so here I am, I haven't been using it long, but I've already met some great people. When I first went to South America , I was very fortunate to have places to stay, and that helps alleviate sa lot of the stress of costs when traveling on a budget. Unfortunately, my friends have both moved, and I’m dying to return! I will never have the money to stay in hotels, and even AirBnBs are sometimes too expensive. Hostels are great, but I don’t want to hang with other tourists - I want to experience traveling by getting to know locals!
