Overview
About Me
I am a 24 year old male from North Queensland Australia.
I am an extravert thats for sure, I love a good conversation accompanied by food and drinks. I can cook, not a massive knowledge of recipes but the ones I cook, I cook well. I seem to get along with dogs and cats fine.
I have been a Carpenter since I was fifteen but have been a musician since I was 9 and this has been my hobby, my passion and my job, for a period of time. It gives me a voice and a way of expression that is not confined to just words. I have written two albums of music one with friends when I was 19 and another solo in 2015. This is a major part of who I am, tho its not all of who I am. I am happy to put the guitar away and talk or read and just listen.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
My Passion for travel has been fueled by my infatuation with the people of the world.
I grew up in Airlie Beach (small sailing town/tourist town) with a small community of family and friends.
We were always surrounded by travelers, nomads, backpackers. This inevitably drove me to become one and now I spend my days up and down the East coast in the "Magic School Bus" (my van and home) meeting people from all over the globe and now I am on an adventure to see how they live. To experience the Land and the people with an open mind and open heart.
The music is especially a driving force for my travels. As of this moment I have my guitar and small amp with me and I am looking for anyone who wants to make beautiful music, for us and for anyone who wants to listen. I recently recorded a song with a new found friend in north Germany.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
I Traveled to America with my best friend when we were 14 years old, the school had organized and said anyone could go, so i worked at the local bakery and my friend at the bottle shop. A year later we were in Seattle at a school. It taught me that its so much sweeter if you work for it.
In 2015 I took a disabled boy on a 10 day cruise to New Caledonia. I was given the opportunity and was so glad I took It, I met some amazing young people, who helped me out and one of the bands from the cruise I ended up partying with back in Sydney months later. You never know who will become your pall or not!
Countries I’ve Visited
England, Germany, Indonesia, Netherlands, New Caledonia, United States
