I am finishing up my time at Penn State University as a senior and I study actuarial science. I am a big fan of the outdoors I and love to hike and go camping. I am always looking for ways to have a fun time, see cool things, and learn new stuff.
I try to live my life through a few mottos. First I would rather end up regretting doing something than regret not doing something. Second I think that things can always be better. Even if what I'm doing now may be so amazing, who is to say that if I switch things up it won't be even more amazing? And third I think life has the meaning that you assign to it, and I'm constantly searching for my own :)
I will be living in New York City starting in August so let me know if you are around starting then!

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I have a few things that I live for, hiking seeing new places, and meeting new places. Of course, traveling is the easiest way for me to accomplish all three of these things in one! I love to talk to people about their experiences from where they are from and where they have been, each of us sharing our stories of our travels, and what our cultures are like. For this reason I use couch surf, there really is no better way to meet someone and start having genuine conversation with them than when you stay with them.

Interests

I really enjoy the outdoors. I am a big fan of camping, and hiking in particular. Been getting into rock climbing lately, mostly indoor though, but I really want to start exploring out door climbing and bouldering. Playing a game of ultimate Frisbee is one of my favorite things in the world.

Music, Movies, and Books

My music tastes have a pretty large range. Some bands/artists that I like are Of Montreal, Radiohead, The Beatles, Blink 182, Neon Indian, Godspeed You Black Emperor, Jamie XX, The XX, Drake, Kendrick Lamar, Chance the Rapper, and the list can go on and on.
I'd say my favorite artist is Kanye West.
I am a big fan of thriller type movies. My favorite directors are Christopher Nolan and Quentin Tarantino.
My favorite author is Stephen King, and my favorite book is House of Leaves.
