Une aventure extraordinaire que j'ai vécue

I was up North in Italy trying to find a place to ski and I heard about the Orange Throwing Carnival in Ivrea. This is basically a day when thousands of people come to this town called Ivrea and fill up 5 massive squares with 9 teams. They then release people in carts into the squares who are all covered in armour and everyone begins to throw thousands of oranges at each other. I was in a hostel and someone there was doing it so I came along and managed to participate. By the end oranges were up to my ankles throughout the whole square and I was filthy.
