About Me
CURRENT MISSION
I want to meet new people around the world - by any means necessary! Couch surfing could be a nice way to start.
ABOUT ME
WARNING: I enjoy writing long texts.
I'm an outgoing yet shy as a sheep music lover. I love sports, especially bouldering both indoors and outside. I play in a funk rock band and I run a small personal business of many sorts, all about music though.
SPORTS! I do enjoy a good amount of sweat on a regular basis, preferably every day. Bouldering is my most precious hobby at the moment. There is a great indoor bouldering facility near my home and plenty of outdoor places to go to. Jogging is something I try to do at least a few times in a week as well as gym action. I have a tendency of doing morning sports at home before venturing to work or outside or wherever.
VINYL RECORDS! Got to love them. They're my most precious decorative element in my home - and I do listen to them as well on a regular basis, zero genre boundaries (although I really do hate American country-rock, but only the most bland tunes).
I also love my bicycle during the summer. As I'm writing this I'm about to go for a drive.
I like old games and gaming in general, although it really requires a special mood for me to even want to play anything. Gaming during the summer is pretty much a no-no, so come winter and maybe I'll hook up my SNES once again. The only tattoo I've got is a little 8-bit Mega Man on my leg, the first and biggest source of my musical inspiration!
That said, I do love music in general. I play primarily the piano, but drums and strings instruments are not too strange for me. I love playing acoustic guitar even if I can't really play it. Singing is also a hobby of mine and it's usually just some improvised yodeling accompanied with poorly thought guitar chords. But that won't stop me from doing it! And so far no one has ever complained, so maybe I'm doing something right?
Summer brings me to the terraces, can't help it. Also cycling around the city and ending up in a park or even some beach is not an irregularity for me. All in all I love wondering around in the city center. I'm located in a semi-pivotal part of Helsinki and there's a tram station right in front of my front door and all of the trams passing by take you to the center (10 minute trip or so) and I LOVE IT!
Food is another huge hobby for me for I love to cook - especially when there are others eating the food! I'm not a master chef by any standards, but I do know how to give you a full stomach and maybe even crave for more. I eat anything and everything, although I try to go for the green values and organic ingredients whenever possible.
Oh, I don't smoke but I don't hate you for doing it. Do what you've got to do as long as you're happy!
PHILOSOPHY
Whatever you do, be happy doing it. That's my motto - and I'm happy whatever I do! I love laughter so I try to induce that around me as much as possible. If life gets your mood down, don't get too sour! I don't enjoy people who complain about everything. All in all negative energy is not in my list of things I like.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
I've been mostly just lurking in this website for several months now but only now I'm going to start offering people a place to stay! Hopefully later this year or early next year I'll start moving around the Europe myself.
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
So far I've mostly accommodated my friends around Helsinki and Finland in general. One time I bumped into a swedish couchsurfer and accommodated her. I don't really have problems with people who are open-minded - and even if there's something close-minded about the person, I can usually handle that with ease. Humour works!

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
I lived together with my big brother for 9 months a few years ago, it did really great things to my mind and also got us a lot closer to each other. He's my biggest inspiration and one of the few people I truly love. It is amazing that there is one person in the world who just gets you, completely. No matter what the time, no matter what the situation, no matter what the cause. And for me this is totally amazing.
Teach, Learn, Share
I can teach you finnish language, how to fool others in believing that you can play the acoustic guitar, how to make music in general, how to scratch vinyl records without a mixer - and how to cook delicious cheese filled meatballs! I know the secret art of Canasta. I can also teach/show you how to solve the rubik's cube!
