WHERE I LIVE

I now live 1/2 way between Sydney and Melbourne a short distance inland from the virtually untouched Sapphire Coast in the Bega Shire of southern NSW.

I live on 200 acres of bush, forest and riverside land in a beautiful valley 2 hours from Canberra, 1 hour from Cooma, 1 and a half hours from NSW Snowfields and 30 mins from the Sapphire Coast.

I love to travel and when not traveling I love to host travelers who through their stories can bring their world to me.

I consider myself to be relaxed,someone who is comfortable in their own skin.

I love life...I participate fully in everything I do. I love to be happy and engaging with whomever I meet.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I participate fully & extract as much joy as i can from each moment.

I welcome any travelers who would be happy to help around the property for 2 or so hours a day. There is so much to do here that I can always find something for you that suits your skills and preferences. You may even learn a new skill or have a skill or way of doing something you wish to share with me?

This is a great place to stay for artists, artisans or people just looking to really get a sense of rural / remote living in a safe environment with some of the comforts of home!

The accommodation I can offer you will depend upon your preference. There are so many places to camp on my property that you may prefer to do this? You may have your own camper, I can provide power and water to some areas.

I have a log cabin and a separate bunkhouse in a building close to the main house.

I can offer good hospitality with many and varied accommodation options, you can decide.

PLEASE NOTE: My home is situated in quite a remote part of NSW along a well maintained 2WD dirt road. The nearest towns are Wyndham (4G data only) a 15 min drive and Bombala (3/4G phone /data ) a 30 min drive. There is NO mobile/cell service here at all. I can offer WIFI around the main house complex and I have a landline and will provide you with UHF radio if you choose to explore or camp in more remote areas of my property.

This note is not to put you off visiting, just so you are aware there is no 7/11 just down the road.
