ABOUT ME

Hi everyone, my name is Harry and I'm a student from Melbourne, Australia. I am very much a 'people' person. I love meeting new people and love to socialise. I also like anything out of the norm, I am not a huge fan of conforming to the masses. I love to be a little different with whatever I do. My friends may describe me as a passive, fun loving and down to earth larrikin... well i like to think so anyway. I love exploring what the rest of the world has to offer and take any opportunity to travel. The aim is to see as much of the world before the age of thirty, a huge undertaking to say the least.

PHILOSOPHY

My personal philosophy in life is pretty simple, whatever i do, i try and do my best, whatever it may be and i aim to treat everyone the way i want to be treated. It's nothing too dramatic but values i try to maintain, and it serves me well.

When my friend told me of this community, i found it to be a brilliant concept, uniting people in such a unique method. I love Melbourne and would be the happiest person to show people around this beloved city. Apart from all the attractions, Melbourne has so much culture to offer that only a local who fully appreciates the city would be able to fully showcase the city that it is.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I have surfed a few awesome couches throughout the states. As I have moved back in with the folks, I do not have a couch available at the moment.

Interessen

At the moment, my interest is in travelling. Like i mentioned earlier, i just want to get out there and meet new people. But other interests that keep me happy are my friends, sports, music and fashion. I'll put it out there, I love a good dance and a good shop and nothing feels better than smashing it down with your mates, new and old :)

Musik, Filme und Bücher

I enjoy most things and am open to trying anything, except maybe lady gaga. I love music i can dance to, particularly disco, and books when i manage to find the time. I could sit and watch any movie, I dont mind the odd tear jerker.

Lehren, lernen, teilen

I am wanting to find out what others may have to teach me, especially from their travels, I want to learn from different cultures values that they maintain, and how I could better myself by incorporating them into my life. I also believe that we all can learn from each other as we share different perspectives on the many facets of life. By understanding one another, we can make this world a better place to live in.
