ABOUT ME

To describe me in 5 words: positive, open-minded, easygoing, adventurous, laid back.

I have studied art and I love art in different forms starting form street art ending with classical paintings. Now I'm working as a carpenter, especially enjoying challenging projects which require wit and commitment to complete.

I'm rather active, trying to be outdoors as much as possible. I enjoy good food (willing to cook myself, I have even been a cook on a sailboat), spending time with my friends and meeting new people.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

To meet interesting people and gain new experiences. It is much more interesting to discover new places when you have a chance to meet locals, find out how they live and think and of course getting tips what to see and where to go. There are often some special places that only locals know and it's a privilege to find out.

Interests

I like hiking (most memorable has been hiking in High Tatras but also in Estonia, especially during winter when in extreme cases you wake up with your beard in ice and have to beat your trousers soft because they are frozen…), traveling (tasting local food and drinks is a must; I have only been to Europe but hoping to visit Asia and other continents soon), spending time in nature (swimming, jogging, cycling, climbing etc) and good people. The place isn`t so important as the vibes around me. Music is a big part of my life, I enjoy good sound and a very wide variety of music.

I have ice skated over a frozen sea from mainland to an island and back (44 km), in a day.
