ABOUT ME

I am a passionate traveler from Belgium, full of lust for life, no border is too far to cross.
I have been a tour guide in Canada in British Columbia (Vancouver area) and Alberta (Rocky Mountains). I get a kick out of being in the great outdoors. A human being enthusiast who is ready for any challenge life brings. I played volleybal and was a lifeguard at the Belgian coast in summer. I love being on the waves on a board, surfing coastlines, but I am still learning. Recently (2019-2020), I got into rock climbing after spending a year in Queenstown, New Zealand. HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

Whenever I'm by myself in a big city, I check out when there is a meeting. I love those meetings. I get to know so many nice people. I have a couch in Belgium, but I am always traveling... In Canada, I have slept on more couches than beds... Couches are the way to go. Big fan of the CS community!

I am trying this digital nomad thing for the first time in my life now; graphic designer on the road. I am a tour guide in Canada. I play volleyball, I like sports. In winter you can find me glide down a snowy mountain peak on skis. In summer I try to surf some waves or swim in the ocean, as I feel very comfortable in the water. I was a lifeguard at the Belgian coast and in some local swimming pools.
I love music: I play the piano and the guitar and have been practising the bagpipes. I also like to listen to numerous music genres.
I used to be a DJ and a monitor in the youth movement.
I eat wholefoods plantbased (vegan) and love it!

Music: Rock-minded (all the famous old school rock bands), but also electro and dance (as a DJ). I love ALL kinds of music. Lately, I have been listening to a lot of Indy Pop Folk and Alternative bands with mainly acoustic sounds.

我做过的一件不可思议的事情

I got lost in the Amazon forest with my Belgian friend, two other guys and a Brazilian guide. I wrote a travel novel about it at the age of 22. The money I earn from the book helps out the street children in Rio de Janeiro.

A fun time with a lot of stories. I am very fast and eager to learn things, and love to listen to other peoples' stories. I am interested in various lifestyles. My friends call me a social chameleon: I adapt to any situation, wherever I go, I blend in.
