CURRENT MISSION
to see, meet, enjoy, and learn
ABOUT ME
I like to think of myself as someone who can be interested in many different things but also as someone who is easily dissuaded from "pushing their boat out" so to speak.
I thoroughly enjoy a good discussion of almost any variety and probably miss dinner conversations with my brother and dad the most while I am away from home.
Almost all of my other passions are associated with the outdoors: climbing, mountain biking, snowboarding, hiking, etc. The mountains drive the majority of my adventures both abroad and at home.
Other than that it is music, good people, and good food.
Oh, yeah. Food is important. I have definitely been called a snob by almost all of my friends at some time or other.
PHILOSOPHY
If it's not worth doing properly it's not worth doing at all.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
Mostly through some activity as an outlet such as climbing with friends, cooking for/with friends, listening to or discussing music...
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
So far my experience is primarily based on rolling into Santiago (from Canada) and having an amazing place to stay with a stellar host who couldn't have been more helpful. It truly opened my eyes to the potential!
Interests
Rock climbing, riding bikes, hiking, various snow-sports, etc.
Reading fiction and non with The Economist as one of my favourite publications (currently).
Music - almost anything here. Pop country music definitely does not have a place on my iPod but rap, folk, rock, electronic, classical, house, etc. all do.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
I ran into a friend from Calgary in Huaraz, Peru unplanned. That was pretty neat!
Teach, Learn, Share
I know how to climb (and could theoretically teach someone also) and would love to colaborate with anyone in a kitchen either teaching or learning about different cooking methodologies.
