One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I went on a trek to tigers nest, one of the spectacular places in bhutan. One needs to hike 2-3 hrs in dense forest to reach the monastery.Every one leaves the forest by 2-3pm.But I decided to spend some time so i went to a point which is highest point on the mountain.I met a monk there and we had a great conversation about life and death and spirituality. After spending 1 hr i took his leave and started to descend the trail in the forest all alone.First 30 min it was fine and then after suddenly darkness engulfed the forest.I couldnt see even what was infront of me and the path is slippery and treacherous.I slid off into the valley and just came with in a whisker to losing life.I was alone in the forest and it was dark and i didnt have enough charge in my phone.I had chills run down my spine.Never had i feared for life so much.Without trembling i stood calm and serene.Bear Grylls has been my hero and i thought it is the time i should do something like my hero.I took a walking stick and manoeuvred the path infront of me.Some how after 90 min of hard work i reached the base camp, place where the trek starts.I presume with out the blessings of guru padmasambhava i wouldnt have done something like that.
