About Me
My name is Harshit Uttam, I'm 23 and hail from the India
I've been away from the India for 2 years, spending most of that time in Thailand.
I currently fuel my travels working as Business analyst and solving diiferent sets of business problems with the help of my analytical approach, although I am in the process of moving into the world of SAAS with an app I'm building for people who run Ecommerce websites. MRR is where it's at!
I currently live in Bangalore, India (if anyone wants to grab a beer hit me up). I came here two years ago and decided to start my career and figure out some more challenging opportunites. I call Bangalore as mys econd home and use it as a base to travel to other places
Where am I going? I'm not sure if I will leave Bangalore permanently for at least a few years. However I'll be hitting up Europe with my friend in next few years and possibly United states (if anyone can offer some Europe advice I'd love that!)
I also want to spend 6 months in Japan and 6 months in France at some point in the next few years.
Most memorable thing so far has been travelling to Thailand and trekking . I can't wait to go back and do it again and would recommend the experience to anyone.
Being up in the Himalayas is magical.
Will you go home anytime soon? Unlikely. At least not to live.
All my friends and family are doing the exact same things in the exact same place (he says hypocritically having spent two years in CM)
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
You’ve got friends all around the world. If one day someone told you this, wouldn’t it be awesome? Well, it sure would! It would be absolutely fantastic if you can just fly to any country and find a couch to crash on for a few days. Your friend will tell you the best things to do in his/her city, show you the famous lanes where memories are made, direct you towards the nearest bus stand or metro station from where you can explore this new city you have just arrived in. But, it doesn’t seem to be possible right? How can you have friends all around the world? Well, Couchsurfing is the 1st step towards that!
