My name is Harut, an Australian born Canadian with Armenian roots. Useless fun fact: I sometimes change my name to Horat on Facebook.

My favourite mode of transportation is thumb - I love hitch hiking. It's a great way to travel, meet locals and learn about a country.

Apart from that, my professional career is aimed towards NGO work / government bureaucracy. My latest job was a short term contract with the Department of Foreign Affairs in Canada. Saved up my money and now I'm Europing!

Latest big trip was a month long hitchhiking trip across France. Tons of fun!!
