I am very good at sports such as golf and tennis. I completed my high school education in United States of America. I love traveling around the world, and i like to see new cultures and meet with new people. I play guitar and clarinet. Fluent in Turkish and English. I had Spanish class in America for two years but i don't think it is enough. I want to be able to speak as many languages as my first language. I love animals and nature. The best example of it is that i have traveled a lot of countries in Africa because i love going out to the Safaris and see animals natural habitat. I am a talented person who loves to collect all the knowledge he can get, so i am love to learn new information.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

Because i am very into traveling, and i see that as an opportunity to see different countries and environments. This also may help me to find myself. When a person sees different life styles, they start having more opinion about other people's lives. Maybe this may help me to find how i want to live in the future.

Interests

I play two sports which are Tennis and Golf as in Amateur level. I like to play any kind of sport but i can just play them for fun. I always wanted to learn American football, however did not have time to join to the team. I play two instruments such as Clarinet and Guitar. I feel like music turns me up and gives me positive energy about myself and my life. I love animals and nature.

Music, Movies, and Books

The Great Gatsby written by F. Scott-Fitzgerald. It thought me that loving a person may make you blind. First a person should think of himself and his happiness. We cannot live in the past. If you cannot get over it, then it is going to make you have a lot of problems in the future.

I like any kind of music. It is all about how i feel in that moment. I like to listen to the songs which goes along with my personality or my mood at that moment.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I went to United States of America in age of 13 by myself without having my family with me. Jumped on the plane and went there for my education. Hadn't been in a different country/city without even having my family with me. I also did not know how to speak in English AT ALL!. So i had no idea how to speak. That is one of the many amazing things i have done.

Teach, Learn, Share

3/4 of the bird population passes through Turkey for migration. How i know is i have done 600+ hours of volunteering in the bird ringing station on the other side of my country in a village where there is no internet or water for me to be able to take a shower. I spend 3 weeks of my life every year just because of my passion for animals and nature.

What I Can Share with Hosts

I am very good at adapting people and it is very easy for me to find a similar topic to talk about just because i have had a lot of experiences with other people from different countries. I went to school in America which made me find friends from all around the world. I see myself being very close to every one of them which proves me that i am pretty good at knowing how to behave.

My father passed away when i was 8 years old. Which is sad but also made me become a man. I didn't have a father to back me up so i had to learn everything by myself. Unlike the other teenagers, i always had a great relationship with my mother and she always helped me to become a better person.
