I'm Heidi, just moved to the Netherlands to start my masters in Cultural Anthropology at Leiden. Living in Delft. I am free-spirited, fun-loving, open-minded and easy going! I love meeting new people, venturing to new and interesting places and learning new things.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I've hosted a bit depending on where I am unfortunately I'm not in a position to host anyone at the moment! I've also managed to find a flat off CS, when I moved to Bristol for the year. Incredible experience, highly recommend checking out flatmates pages if you're ever stuck for a place to live!

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I've had a couple of hosting experiences so far which have been great! And found my previous residence and flatmates via couchsurfing - so far so good!

Interests

Yoga, reading, adventure! Thoroughly enjoy partying, music, meeting people, exploring, getting lost, finding out more about the world. Love history and culture, I am huge advocate for cultural exchange, it's my bread and butter.

Music, Movies, and Books

Love music of any kind, my personal preference is acoustic and folk but living in Bristol certainly opened my mind or my ears to a lot of different kinds of music and I love sharing tunes with people and being introduced to new stuff.
Movies are a hard one because I am a bit of a binger, but you can't beat Braveheart, Into the Wild and Oranges and Sunshine.
TV shows - Game of Thrones any day of the week or hour of the day!
Books..... Favourite book 'A Thousand Splendid Suns' by Khaled Houssini annnnnnnnd 'Perfume' for a strange and awesome read! Also Homage to Catalonia by George Orwell has very quickly become a favourite of mine.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Gar so much and yet not enough! Off the top of my head, Glastonbury 2013 and The Rolling Stones, but the sunset at the stone circle is definitely a strong contender.
