About Me

I am words condensed into images.

I have been living and travelling alone since I was 16 y/o. I did my bachelors in Economics which was terrible. After finishing my bachelors I picked up my camera and started taking pictures which started as a hobby but now has become my profession.

Currently, a student of visual anthropology, trying to find a language for photographs that breathe and break in streets, in bones, in memories.

I don't use facebook or any other platform except Instagram and you all can check some of my photographs there.
The username is : _gaamuk

PS: Please dont freakout because I have no references, I just never used this platform before. But I think now is right time.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

As a film maker, I like to interact with people from different places and know their stories and also share my own experiences with them. This is something you don't get when you check-in to a Hotel.
I made a profile on Couch Surfing a long time ago but never got to use it because to be really honest, I didn't know how this thing works. But now I am giving it another try and lets see where it takes me this time.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I wouldn't compare the things I have done but the most amazing thing I did is deciding not to spend the rest of my life in a cubicle and earn shitload of money. Instead I decided to pick up my camera and document the world even if it meant spending years struggling and not having a penny to spent
