ABOUT ME

My name is Hassan Barzani and I officially graduated from The University of Texas at San Antonio (UTSA) in August 2013. I received an Bachelors of Arts in Communications-Public Relations and with extensive coursework in the Technical Communications as well.

In addition, I have an Associate of Arts General Studies Degree with extensive coursework in Broadcast Journalism at Collin College. I graduated from Collin in 2009.

I have worked and intern in the fields of communications, marketing, sports, game day operations, daily operations, broadcasting, video editing, teaching, mentoring, retail and customer services. Some of places I have worked has been with UTSA Campus Recreations for four years and with the UTSA Athletics Department for a year. I have been working in multiple departments at Six Flags Fiesta Texas for three seasons. Also, working with SA Youth AmeriCorps as an Teaching Scholar.

Throughout my years in school, I have been apart of religious, community service, greek life, political, academic and athletic organizations. One of the groups has becoming an Eagle Scout in the Boys of America. Another one has been being apart of Pi Kappa Phi All-Male Fraternity. In addition, I am apart of Alpha Phi Omega CO-ED Service Fraternity. Other organizations I have apart of has been National Society Leadership and Success, Golden Key International Honor Society, Omicron Delta Kappa-National Leadership Honor Society, Society of Professional Journalists, National Broadcasting Society, CUFI on Campus, Campus Crusade for Christ, Destino Movement, Professional Recreation Organization and Public Relations Student Society of America (PRSSA).

In August 2014, I plan on moving the Windy City of Chicago, IL for work and graduate school. I plan on pursuing an dual Masters in Sports Management and Journalism.
