ABOUT ME

#1: I absolutely love to travel and meet new people.

I'm a very outgoing and adventurous person. One of the most memorable trips I have taken was to Australia where I stayed with a very generous family in Melbourne. I had met this family on a trip I had taken to Mt. Abu, India and very quickly became close friends.

Soccer is one of my favorite sports. I've played it since I was a kid, and recently, I have started to referee it. It's a sport which does not have any timeouts and very few stoppages. I believe that is one of the reasons it so exciting. It is also one of the few sports which is played in almost EVERY country and no matter your age, you can participate. Most of my weekends are spent being involved with it.

I'm new to the Couchsurfing world, but I hope my encounters leave me with a more well-rounded and deeper understanding of various cultures.

Being able to share stories and immerse yourself in a new atmosphere is one of the greatest feelings in life.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I have recently signed up for CS because of a recommendation from a good friend. To be completely honest, I am a little bit nervous traveling by this means as I have never experienced anything like it; however, I am a very optimistic person and believe it will be a great eye opening experience once I get the first trip under way.

I have always enjoyed sharing stories of my travels and adventures with friends, and I am hoping the experiences I have and friendships I build will help to make me an even more culturally well-rounded person.

Interests

Refereeing and playing soccer, attending college football games, swimming, spending time at the lake, camping, going to the beach, visiting landmarks, almost anything outdoors!

Teach, Learn, Share

Teaching is one of my passions. As nerdy as it sounds, teaching mathematics (Algebra, Calculus, etc..) is probably where my strengths lie. I am also blessed with random talents such as juggling. If I come across anyone who can benefit from my help, it will always be available.

I believe helping one another in society is one of the strongest connections you can make with another individual.

As far as learning goes, there is so much I would like to learn. Hopefully, my adventures and travel experiences will teach me everything and more of what I can hope.
