About Me
My name is Hasna. I am a student majoring in Education, teaching English. This language has opened my eyes to the world and brought me to this little box where I am typing these thoughts. Language brought me to couchsurfing, to travelling, to exploring cultures, and to make the most of my short life. I haven't travelled much, but I have never missed a chance to step out of my shell and see a bit of this vast world. I find something mesmerizing outside my comfort zone, I am fond of meeting expats and people from different countries, I enjoy exchanging langauge, culture, music, and our understanding of life.
I have a great thirst for knowledge and my curiousity leads me to constant change and movement in my life. I love nature and peace, rainfall and star gazing.
I am open-minded and I love interacting with both my hosts and my guests. I am organized and respectful towards the place and the people. I always clean after me and I enjoy giving a helping hand to my hosts with whatever they're doing. I am easy-going and usually down to any plans at home or outside for a memorable trip.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
Even if I could afford a 5 star hotel, I would still choose the homestay type, being broke is not my only reason for being on couchsurfing.
When I travel, I go to see places, people, and cultures. I believe that visiting a certain country is more than just shopping in its markets and sleeping at its hotels. To me, people and locals are the most important part of any trip I take, I like to get to know them, talk to them, and get to know the place through their eyes. When I go back home, I take beautiful memories with me, stories, tastes of food, and real friendships. Only these make my trip worthwhile.
And all that is said, is verse versa. I'd love that when guests come to my place, to come with curiousity to learn about me, to have an interest in getting to know me, and to have an open mind. I would love that visitors bring this same attitude when they visit me. That way we could make our life adventures amazingly memorable and cherished.
