About Me

Hey! I’m Hassan. I’m originally from Pakistan and currently studying Business on an Erasmus program in Iași, Romania. I’ve always wanted to travel, meet new people, and learn from everyday experiences — so Couchsurfing feels like the right place for me
Right now I’m just exploring Iași, trying to understand the city not only through maps but through the people who live here. If we cross paths, I’d be happy to hang out, talk, learn, maybe laugh, and see what we take away from it.
So if you want to grab a coffee, walk around, talk about movies, psychology, travel, music, life, whatever — I’m in.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I made this profile a while ago because I’ve always wanted to travel, but I didn’t really get the chance until now. I recently came to Iași, Romania for my Erasmus program, and I thought this would be a perfect time to actually use Couchsurfing — not just to visit places, but to meet the people who live here. I’d love to get to know the city through locals, hear their stories, maybe share mine, and hopefully have some good conversations and fun experiences along the way.

Music, Movies, and Books

I’m not loyal to any specific music genre — if the beat feels good, I’m in. I’ll play a track on repeat until I get tired of it, then I move on and discover something new. It keeps life interesting.

In high school, I was completely hooked on the Jack Reacher thriller series by Lee Child. I would read those books anywhere — buses, hallways, even during classes sometimes (sorry, teachers).

I watch a lot of movies and shows — Netflix is basically my background music at this point. Recently, I got hooked on the series "You". What I love about it is how it messes with your sense of right and wrong. It’s one of those shows where the love story feels so deep, intense, and almost poetic… and then you realize the guy you’ve been rooting for is actually not a good person. It puts you in this weird ethical dilemma — like, why am I even sympathizing with him?

I love stories that make you question yourself a little. Keeps the mind awake

Teach, Learn, Share

I believe listening to other people’s stories can really change your perspective. Everyone carries their own experiences, and sometimes you don’t even realize who might become your inspiration. I love hearing about different journeys and sharing my own. It’s one of the simplest and most meaningful ways to learn from each other
