Why I’m on Couchsurfing

Best way to travel is by meeting locals and experiencing culture and couch surfing is the perfect way to do so :)

Interests

I love dancing of all forms, even ballet and contempary! I take hip hop dance classes regularly 3 times a week and used to teach break dancing at my university. I also used to play badminton and basketball in high school and like staying active through working out.

Besides that, I love trying new food as well learning history/culture of new countries.

Music, Movies, and Books

Movies: I like not so serious, lighthearted comedy movies and tv shows (like The Office and 21 Jump Street) as well as suspense and movies with lots of thinking (Shutter Island, Memento and Intersteller). Christopher Nolan movies are my favorite by far!

Music: Lots of popular hip hop artists like Drake, Kanye, Migos, Future, The Weeknd, Chance the Rapper, Frank Ocean, Kendrick Lamar as well as other random artists Spotify recommends. I also love electronic music such as trance and house but I haven't listened to electronic music as much lately

Books: Not much of a reader, but To Kill a Mocking Bird, 1984, Lullabies for a Little Criminal, interesting non fiction and of course Harry Potter

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I have ate barbecue flavoured crickets before! (yes the insect, it has lots of protein :) )

Teach, Learn, Share

I am learning mandarin for when I visit Taiwan and I can teach English and dance moves to show off at the clubs ;)

What I Can Share with Hosts

I will share everything, except for my toothbrush! Haha just kidding. I will share my experiences as well as my upbringing so that we can learn more about each other and the different cultures.
