Overview
About Me
I'm from Calgary, Canada. I work as a dentist in Alberta, currently on an extended leave, which keeps on extending 😂. I've been traveling for almost a year now, across different regions, and I love to connect with cool people along the way, especially locals. A big part of my travel experience in any country I visit is connecting with the people living there, and that way, I get to learn about and appreciate the place much more.
I was in the Middle East, Central Asia, and Eastern Europe for the first of the year 2023. Since then, I've been traveling through South America.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
Some backpackers I met in a hostel in Riga suggested using this app to meet people about 5 years ago. I heard it's a great way to meet local people, and I learn the most about a country and their culture by hanging out with the locals. I haven't tried hosting or being a guest yet, and I have only used it to link up with other travelers so far. I'd love to experience being a guest and hosting sometime in the near future.
Interests
I like playing and watching football (soccer), very rarely play chess if/when I find someone that knows how to play. I love to learn new languages, over the last few years, I've picked up some Spanish, Arabic, Russian and now I'm learning French.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
The most amazing thing I've recently done was my first skydive in Pucon, Chile.
The best thing I've seen is a group of penguins fighting a seal on Antarctica
Teach, Learn, Share
Teach: valuable scams to be aware of in the countries that I've visited. Some learned through experiences 😂
Learn: Love learning new languages or at least the basics of the language spoken in the country I'm traveling to.
Share: I like to share my travel experiences with people I meet, and giving them free dental advice 😀
What I Can Share with Hosts
I love sharing my travel stories and give dental advice. And some souvenirs from different parts of the world.
