About Me

Hey, on my identity card my name is too long but my friends call me Hassan. I was born and bred in Faisalabad, Pakistan a city known for it's textile industry and humor. I moved to Germany two years ago and from then the crazy second chapter of my travelling started.
I love doing crazy stuff, if there is something which has a bit of risk in it, count me in. I love cooking, my friends say that I am a really good cook, and sharing food with people, that's how you make really good friends. I enjoy going on bike trips or hiking, doing any sports activity outdoors. In summer time you'll mostly find me in the park chilling or reading a book, kicking football with friends or in a BEACH VOLLEYBALL FIELD. I am a witty person who knows when and how to have a deep conversations.
If I get time after doing all this stuff, you would find me studying for my masters degree in Automotive Systems Engineering.
Fun, Play, Eat, Repeat.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

For me one of the biggest aspect of the travelling is to get to know the local culture, lifestyle, traditions and the essence of life. In my opinion couch surfing is a really good option to step up this thing, you can get more infos, tips, guides from your host. You can learn more about the hidden features, aspects, stories and secrets of the local place from the host.

Music, Movies, and Books

I am always exploring new music, listening to the playlists from the friends or finding new music at a party or on a trip. But to point a few genres it would be 80s / 90s music, some times soul music and some blues while reading a good book or just chilling on my sofa. And yes of course Qawalis from Nusrat Fateh Ali Khan (I know not many people will know about this music). Favourite movies also includes a lot but to name a few The Shawshank Redemption, Forrest Gump, The Terminal, Dead Poets Society, The Ron Clark Story, Fast and Furious, Pirates of the Caribbean, and late night Horror movies with friends. My favorite books include The Kite Runner, A Man called Ove and the book I am currently reading is also really interesting named Mit 50 Euro um die Welt.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

There're many but if I have to mention one that would be the one that ignited the spark of travel / adventure in me:
Offroad hike towards Lake Saif ul Maluk, Pakistan in snow.

Teach, Learn, Share

Travelling is the best way to learn the new culture and teach the locals about the cultures of one's own company. This might create interest in the local hosts or people you meet to visit your country. I am always keen on learning new stuff, recipes and local tales and share the same from my country. This is the reason that I can make some really good German delicacies and my German friends are now expert in Pakistani food.

What I Can Share with Hosts

I believe in term "More the Merrier". So, I'm always open to share the stuff I have may it be food or other stuff. I bring stories from my travel and experiences and I love telling stories.
