I finished my job on the railway in July in order to go back into full time education. Studying for an HNC in Electrical Engineering, I need creative ideas on what I should do next so I don't end up back in the railway 😄

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I could easily go on all my road-trips staying in hostels and I usually do. The trouble is that I find I hardly ever meet people from the country I'm visiting and probably miss out on a lot of things the places have to offer. For me seeing the sights and following the tourist trail is only a small part of why I go travelling, really I want to know what makes a place the place it is and hear from the people who live there. Also I'd rather spend the hostel money on food or a trip to the restaurant for my host(s). It's much more sociable!

Interests

Finding out how stuff work whatever it is. I just got my bike out the shed it's been in for 10 years so I need to have a go with that. I like swimming and a bit of jogging. I'm currently working on my own electronics project, it's the definition of madness, you just have to ask me about it :)
