About Me

it's actually about us

we are Hatem and Hadil, a couple from Israel, living at Daliyat al Karmel village, on top of mount Karmel, near Haifa.

we have experienced much of precious moments throughtout our travels, and it usually involves people as well as nature.

we are friendly and we enjoy all sorts of cultural interaction. whether it is the sounds, the smells, the tastes or the view, since we believe that each interaction holds a story within.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

since we believe that the most authentic way to really meet the culture is by meeting with those who creat it.

we like to share our time with locals, but we also like to get lost.

we are basically interested in discovering other cultures and sharing ours.

Interests

we are travel addicts , in our last 3 years we spent most of our time traveling and reading travel blogs, and in the process, learning from other's experiences, and geting inspired by them.

What I Can Share with Hosts

we will share Daliyat Al Carmel-Karmel the biggest Druz village in Israel nested peacefully on Mt. Carmel.
Stroll down the colorful bazaar at the village center, visit the Carmelite's Mhraka over looking the Yizrael valley of it’s breathtaking views, take a trip to the near by artist’s village Ein Hod and the city of Haifa or just enjoy day on the beach (a 15 min car ride ) and come back home to join us in our traditional evening coffee gathering.

The Druze’s are famous for their warm hospitality and their delicious ethnic foods, which you will become a part of it.
A must experience when visiting Israel.

there is a public transit nearby , and there is a lot of authentic restaurants.

and that would be part of the things we can share.
