Overview
About Me
I am now sitting at my desk in my little flat drinking mint tea. I am usually doing that on monday nights as this for me is the night to think about what I did on the weekend at what I want to do this week. I work part time as a teacher in a primary school and spend lots of time photographing and filming and traveling the other time. I love joking with the kids, exploring new places, being outside, but I also enjoy silence and loneliness sometimes.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I like to socialize, but not only to put new names in my address book, it is something more general, because I believe that people should come together, should share, should communicate, should listen to each other and tell each other about what they think about being on this wonderful planet earth. When traveling, I want to meet people who live at the places I visit, who can tell me things about this place, about its history, its people, its everyday life.
Interests
Wow. My interests, this is difficult to tell. I am actually interested in so many things because there is such a variety of wonderful and interesting things out there. For example, I am fascinated in nature, in every plant growing, every animal, every human being, the sun and the sky. However, I am not the one writing scientific essays about it, I just walk around with my mouth open.
I do actually write a lot, I do photograph and film a lot, I do appreciate every moment (or lets say: I try!). I like hiking, bicycling, dancing, watching movies.

Music, Movies, and Books
Oh, lets please talk about this personally. Well, okay, I can tell about two authors I like very much: Hermann Hesse and Gabriel Garcia Marquez.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
In summer 2013, I quit my job and walked from Berlin to Bern, about 1.700 kilometers. Just walking. It took me 74 days.
Teach, Learn, Share
I can teach things I know. Well, what do I know... I know things about photo and film, I know how to play the guitar and some other instruments, I know how to cook, I know... let me think about it. However, whatever I know and whatever I have, I love to share.
What I Can Share with Hosts
I can smile, I can cook, I am well-mannered :)
