About Me
"Guten Tag"
I am Hauke, 28 years old guy from Germany. I grew up with four siblings (3 brothers and one sister) next to the Baltic Sea cost in the very northern part of Germany, close to the border of Denmark. I finished high school in 2013, saved money and went to New Zealand for a typical work and travel adventure. In 2014 I moved to Hamburg to start my Business Psychology degree. At the end of 2015 I traveled Indonesia for 5 weeks and then moved to Christchurch, New Zealand for the second time to do a semester abroad. After New Zealand I went to Argentina for a internship in Rosario. I graduated as a M.Sc of Business Psychology and work as an Innovation Manager for an construction material retailer in Germany. During the last few years I traveled Nepal, Ukraine, Balkan Region, Iran, Mexico and some other places.
I maI am a super laid back and chilled guy. Getting to know people and making now friends is a pleasure for me. I easily get along with every kind of person regardless the social, cultural or whatever background. My interests are wide ranged e.g culture, history, politics sports like football or a good beer.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I am aware of Couchsurfing since a long time and I always wanted to do it and now finally I signed up. Since I really like to get into local people and culture wherever I am I think this is a powerful tool to get exactly that. And of course not only to get that, but also to share that. Yet, since I moved out my parents house and living in Hamburg, a city a lot of people visit, I probably get the chance to host and show some of you guys around.

Hiking a volcano at night to see blue flames and lava.
