Overview
About Me
I live in Sydney Australia and love the vibe of this city: sunny, cheerful and relaxed.
I love most of all to live close to the sea: I grew up in Tahiti, French Polynesia and was close to the ocean and lagoons all my life.
I just got married! I met my husband Guillaume six years ago when I was working in Paris, France. We both share the same love for island lifestyle and decided together to move to Australia and keep discovering new places.
I tend to plan everything last minute (especially important stuff) and think everything is gonna turn to be okay! So far so good.
And I love FOOD: nothings cheers me up like dinner parties, eating out and picnics!
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
Experience on Couchsurfing
I first registered a few years ago when I decided to travel to Southeast Asia and although I didn't end up on someone's couch, I met a few couchsurfers and it was a nice experience!
To be true this is still quite new to me!!
Hosting
Not on Couchsurfing as such but I hosted friends and friends of friends and always enjoyed the sharing aspect of it.
Also in my culture, welcoming people is very important, and when I host I do my best to make people feel welcome.
Interests
I practiced traditional Tahitian dance for many years and am fond of this part of my culture heritage. It is quite unique and never disappoints. It is so unique I cannot find proper dance classes where I live, and I started Brazilian samba to get a similar feeling with the music and rythme.
I love reading and can forget everything around me with a good book in my hands. Not my best social skill I must admit but a I love those moments of peace in a different world.
I like camping here in Australia where options are almost infinite. It suits really well with my tendency to last minute plan!
