About Me
CURRENT MISSION
To visit as many remote islands as I can. To spend winter in a remote cabin in Faroe islands or Norway. To savor the world.
ABOUT ME
I was born and raised in warm Puerto Rico. Over the last six years, I have had the opportunity to travel and work outside of the Caribbean. My experiences have given me the opportunity to interact with many people from diverse cultural backgrounds. I have made strong bonds with wonderful friends. I have been living in New York City for the past 4 years, and spent 2 years abroad living in London.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
To meet other fellow travelers while I'm abroad, with the goal of learning from our travels and other experiences. To meet locals in a country and get their own perspective of the place where they live and their culture. To connect with other photography enthusiasts and travelers who enjoy going off the beaten path.
Interests
Over the past few years, I have been pursuing landscape and travel photography. Unfortunately, given that I don't have a driver's license, landscape photography has become a tricky task for me to do on my own, so I'm always keen to connect with other photographers interested in partnering up during their travels.
I've been more successful working with locals in India and elsewhere, where I've had the opportunity to live and interact with a number of different tribal communities.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
I spent 4 months in 2012 couchsurfing around Boston, before moving to NYC. I had a chance to connect with many fellow couchsurfers from around the world who were visiting Boston at the time, and also had the opportunity to host (and be hosted). It was a growing experience for me.
Two years ago, I went on a roadtrip around the highlands of Scotland, and made a trip to the island of St. Kilda, one of the most remote islands in Scotland (and the world). It was from this trip that my fascination for remote islands began!
