About Me
CURRENT MISSION
To find love and kindness in everything.
ABOUT ME
I'm an upbeat human being who enjoys life. When I'm not hunched over my desk at work or in class I like to spend my time seeing friends and family, traveling, DJing and listening to music.
I believe that I was put on the earth to help people. I believe it is my destiny to provide, care and love others.
I am pursuing a Journalism degree in News and Information through the University of Kansas. I may be biased, but I attend the best university. I am an avid KU basketball fan. I DJ at our student-run radio station 90.7 KJHK FM and I absolutely love it.
In my spare time I am either sleeping, reading, spending time with loved ones, volunteering, traveling, or working with music with KJHK.
PHILOSOPHY
"The good life is a process, not a state of being. It is a direction not a destination."

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
I have been given multiple chances to travel and I almost always take advantage of them.
A run down on two of the best experiences I have had in life.
I went to New Orleans back in July of 2010 and it was the most valuable experiences to date. Growing up in south-eastern Kansas, a person can miss out on many things going on in the real world. New Orleans showed me things that I don't think I would have otherwise seen so early in life. The city and its people taught me about believing (not only in one's self but in others as well), living and loving. Never have I seen such a large city have so much love. New Orleans showed me that there is more to life that what I had originally known. I could ramble on about this lovely city and I will if you ask me more.
This past fall I was able to do an interview with Best Coast (one of my favorite bands of all time). The experience really encouraged me to continue doing what I love, writing!
