Overview
About Me
In a nutshell, I was born and raised in Madrid. Then I went to Estonia in Erasmus, then to Portugal to work, then back to Spain to work more, then to Finland, and now I live in Germany where I'm doing my PhD. So yes, I like moving a lot :) Or let's say that I have moved a lot and liked it.
I'm a curious person who likes learning things, new experiences, meeting people, reading and discussing. In Finland I came to love the non-awkward silences :)
I care for the nature, try to choose organic and cut down on meat (although I make exceptions). I like cats as well as dogs, or any fury, feathery or gooey animal.
I need outdoors every now and then (I pretty much work outdoors nowadays) and I like rainy days when at home, or under a roof.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
To meet people when traveling. At home I'm usually busy studying or working, that's why I don't host so much. Often I get to travel for work or pleasure, and meeting locals one can make the most of a trip. And perhaps get good friends on the way.
Interests
Nature, hiking and cycling, bird watching, or animal watching in general (plants tend to be dull).
Board games, videogames, good books, good movies...
I also like to play random sports with my friends, who suck as much as I do.

Music, Movies, and Books
Right now I'm reading The Foundation saga by Asimov.
Song of Ice and Fire (aka Game of thrones)
Movies: almost anything will do, but I prefer stories with some moral background:
Spring, Summer, Fall, Winter... and Spring, (this is just one movie, a very good one), 12 angry men, Into the wild.
Music: I'm a nostalgic of the 90's rock.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Looking after vultures, eagles and other raptors, and marking and tracking them.
Teach, Learn, Share
I've taught Spanish and I enjoyed doing it. I like learning. I suppose i'm a forever-student.
I've learnt enough Finnish to conduct conversations about topics beyond food and bervages, which counts as a super power; now I'm getting into German.
What I Can Share with Hosts
My good mood, conversations, experiences and my time. I like listening more than talking.
