Overview
About Me
I am a easy going guy that loves to get on with everyone and anyone. I am friendly and will make an effort to get to know new people. I am pretty level headed and accept everything around me and am very tolerable to any situation. I am a chilled out person but also cant resist a good party. I play bass guitar and synthesiser in a band. We sometimes run nights to showcase some of the Tokyo underground rock scene. Also I DJ and put on monthly drum'n'bass nights. I work as and English teacher but am looking to pursue something in music. Just for now I'm working part-time in a local live house.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I can participate by being a new and refreshing person to meet and share experiences with.
Ive had no bad experiences so far using couch surfing. In other words, it has only been amazing experiences meeting great people from all around the world. It hasn't taken long to admit that CS is the best thing that has happened to travelers.
Interests
I am an avid music lover. I listen to music all the time searching for something new or re-listening to my favourites.
I love going gigging to get a fix of live music and clubbing for a taste of electronic music (I am a DnB, house and techno fan).
I am quite in to watching films and reading as I love a good story. Who doesn't!?. I especially like reading graphic novels, Sin City and works of Alan Moore are my favourite, and watching interesting films, those that make you think a little or those that are messed up and random.

Music, Movies, and Books
Movies: - Back to the Future (part I, II, & III), gangster movies, documentaries, just generally good movies.
Music: - lots. Progressive post-rock is my thing. DnB is sick! Techno is thumpin'.
Books: - Sin City, Battle Royale, Alan Moore stuff, Haruki Murakami, Steig Larrson, Oliver Sacks and other random stuff.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Well the first moment would be the one that I am currently in the process of. Arriving in Japan to start a new life on my own definitely left me awestruck.
Playing in a band in Tokyo has given me some many amazing experiences. I love to get on stage and smash out a set.
DJing has allowed me to have so much fun. I've played at AgeHa, the biggest club in Asia, while the sun was coming up over Tokyo bay. That is a good memory.
