ABOUT ME

After I taught English as a Peace Corps Volunteer in Senegal, W. Africa, I got married and studied method acting with Lee Strasberg, and because of 3 kids detoured into photography. I've been focusing as an author/photographer revisiting the roles of women. I've written several books, and have had exhibitions in Scotland, the UK and on the eastern seaboard of the US. I'm now living in Hawai'i and I have two delightful grandchildren, one in California and the Netherlands.

Learning to speak Dutch so I can talk with my 6 year old grandson. I went on a cool recycling Tour de Trash of Honolulu in January. There are lots of neat developments in sustainable energy. I love to dance, doing crossword puzzles and traveling. I also love to read, and will plow through a book in a day. Movies are fun to see.

I loved the Termeraire Dragon series, and can't wait for the next volume. Two recent good books are Songs for the Butcher's Daughter by Peter Manseau, and The Gone Away World, by Nick Harkaway. I love to go to movies, and some that come to mind are: The Departed, The Invincible and As Good As It Gets.
