ABOUT ME

Born and raised in Honolulu, Hawai'i. My parents took my two brothers and me traveling when we were young, and the cuisine, sights, sounds and all the people that were inevitably involved were always memorable.

I've taken a few solo trips and look forward to more.

I like making people laugh, sometimes crazy, and volunteering.

I love exploring, learning, thinking, running, biking, walking, hiking, art, creativity, wordplay/puns and reading.

I got the moderna vaccination (12/30/20 and 1/27/21).

Interests

Learning, creativity, art, humor, nutrition, gratitude, compassion. I also enjoy museums, environmental issues, parks, eating and experiencing uncommon things, walking all day, bicycling, outdoor consumption, and combining the aforementioned activities. Of course, traveling and all the new adventures that come with it.

Music, Movies, and Books

All kinds, and will try reading a book, seeing a movie or listening to music that you recommend. I like reading all the sections of newspapers and any free publication.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Walking the perimeter of O'ahu with a homeless group was a unique way to take a vacation.

Overcoming some limiting beliefs, especially about myself.

If you have a passion in something you'd like to share or teach me, I'm interested.

I probably can have you stand up on a longboard (surfing) and catch a wave bodyboarding. I also like to be active, especially running, biking, hiking and swimming.

I'm trying to improve my active listening without judging and providing unsolicited advice. I'll ask a few questions for clarification.

What I Can Share with Hosts

I can prepare dishes, clean them, make some repairs and likely make you laugh (not usually all at the same time).
