Hi, my name is Hayden, and I'm a travel addict. In 2016 I started working for STA Travel in Melbourne, which has definitely fuelled my addiction, and it's given me great opportunities to continue travelling, as well as expanding my knowledge on destinations and greatly expanded my list of places to go.

Currently I'm on a 3-and-a-half month trip around the world - I've recently spend 2 months travelling Asia, and now I'm ready to explore Europe! I'm hoping to have opportunities to stay with locals along the way, to get a more in-depth experience of the places I visit. After all, locals know best!

Besides travel, I also love photography and snowsports.. I'm travelling with my SLR so I'm always on the hunt for a great picture, and I'm hoping to fit in some spring skiing somewhere in the Alps along the way. I also enjoy movies and video games when I'm at home, so I'm happy to chat about the latest releases (if I've seen them, no spoilers please!) and all kinds of other nerdy stuff.

我为什么加入 Couchsurfing

I'm currently on a 3 month trip, so the budget is a little tight! Besides saving money though, I'm hoping couchsurfing will be a great way to meet locals and get a better insight into the places I visit. I'm also travelling with Vegemite, so I can share a bit of the Australian culture with the people I visit :)

我做过的一件不可思议的事情

Before coming to Europe I was in Nepal, and I spent two weeks doing the hike up to Everest Base Camp. It was absolutely the hardest thing I've ever done, but totally worth it! I'm more than happy to show the pictures and tell you all about it :)
