Hey. My name is Hayden. I'm a musician and furniture maker, though neither of these pursuits currently keep me employed. I left Australia in feb of 2016, travelled for 6 months, lived in Germany for 6 months or so, and now I'm on my working holiday visa in the UK, looking forward to putting down some roots for a couple of years.
I get stupidly excited about music and art and all their possibilities, and love meeting people. Everyone knows something that I don't, and I'm at a stage in my life where all I want to do is learn. At the moment that's Spanish, and the Oud (a traditional arabic instrument).

兴趣

I'm pretty into music in all aspects, but especially the production side of things, and also the physics behind it all. Wood and design ideas occupy a large portion of my brain, either for furniture or instruments, and lately a little bit of writing. I'm also incredibly interested in science, particularly psychology and biology, and I have a million little useless facts stored somewhere in my head.

Music is a big subject. I can get into most styles, and in any genre if I look hard enough will find something I like. Favourite bands include: Pink Floyd, led zeppelin, Black Sabbath, portishead, the decemberists, king gizzard, radiohead, tame impala, t.rex, darkside, Sun araw, Amanda Palmer, A Tribe Called Quest, hiatus kaiyote, foxygen, tune yards, temples, jagwar ma, wild beasts, alt-j, beck, Ali farka touré, tinariwen, devendra banhart. I could go on, but the internet has only so much free space left, and it would be selfish of me to waste it. Currently loving Courtney Barnett and fleet foxes.

Hitch hiked all across Myanmar for a month with my best friend. We met so many amazing and wonderful people.
